Umeå Biotech Incubator (UBI) has been named the only incubator in the Nordic region to once again be granted funding from the prestigious Erling Persson Family Foundation. UBI is being granted SEK 10 million between 2020-2022 to help researchers commercialise their ideas for the greater benefit of society.
Som enda inkubator i hela Norden har Umeå Biotech Incubator återigen tilldelats pengar från Familjen Erling-Perssons Stiftelse. Inkubatorn får tio miljoner kronor för åren 2020–2022 för att hjälpa forskare att kommersialisera sina idéer så de kommer samhället till gagn.

Umeå company Spinchem wins a multi-million deal with the listed Canadian company SNC-Lavalin. Spinchem will supply a so-called Rotating Bed Reactor that will be used to clean process water from the nuclear power industry. – This is an incredible deal for us. It gives us the opportunity to further develop our product, says Emil Byström, CEO of Spinchem.
